2 HOUR BOOKINGS
Bookings are automatically for 2 hours.
This time may be extended via phone or email request.
Request for longer is dependent on what other bookings already exist.
Tables arriving from 7:15pm onwards do not rebook on any night so staying until our liquor licence ends is fine. -
OUTDOOR DINING
Outdoor Seating is available out the front of the restaurant on the Ryrie Street footpath.
We advise you check weather conditions before booking as the area is not enclosed and is therefore not suitable in windy, rainy or very hot weather.
We do have heaters but as the space is not enclosed they are not as effective as we would like them to be.
It is unlikely we will be able to move you inside as these are often the last tables available.
We apologise for not being able to provide a better outdoor space - this is all regulations have allowed us to work with. -
MENUS
We have one a la carte menu that is available across all services.
We do not do set menus or offer a kids' menu.
The menu displayed online may not reflect the menu on any given day.
Steaks change daily, pricing & availability is also subject to change.
Please call if there is anything you would like to check with us. -
DIETARY RESTICTIONS
We are 100% gluten free & accredited by Coeliac Australia.
For any other dietary choices or restrictions please consult wait staff, we are more than happy to assist you & make alterations to the menu to cater for you. -
HALAL
All of beef is 100% halal. This has been confirmed with all producers/suppliers.
We are currently looking into our lamb & chicken.
Prosciutto is cooked on our flat grill but no pork of any kind is cooked on our char grill. The pork belly dish is cooked in its own pan.

GROUP BOOKINGS (8 OR MORE GUESTS)
Tables are available for up to 12 guests on weekends, but tables for more than 8 must be generally booked at 7pm onwards. For larger pre-theatre groups, please phone - we may be able to work with you.
Larger bookings can be made Sunday-Thursday.
Tables of 8 can be booked online but please call for anything larger.
We require a credit card to secure group reservation. All credit card information is processed securely.
No-shows or cancellations less than 2 days in advance may be subject to a charge of $50 per person. -
MINIMUM SPEND
We do not have a minimum spend but we do have an expectation that each patron orders a main dish. -
CHILDREN POLICY
We do not have a childrens' menu or space for prams as our restaurant is quite small. We have 2 high chairs available on a first in best dressed basis. -
SURCHARGES
Public Holidays incur a 15% surcharge. Sundays incur a 10% surcharge.
Please be aware all credit card transactions incur a 1.2% surcharge
& American Express a 1.6% surcharge.
Surcharges are applied by the provider of the eftpos facility
& in conjunction with consumer law.
Emerge does not profit from these surcharges in anyway. -
PRIVATE DINING
We do not have a private dining space at this present stage. -
SPLITTING BILLS
Splitting bills is not a problem! We can split via item or amount. -
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers can be purchased right here or you are welcome to come in to purchase a hard copy. They have an expiry of three years from the date of purchase.
